Draping is more than a perfectly placed pleat. It is about being a calm, trusted presence on one of the most meaningful days in a family's life, from the first consultation all the way through the final look. Every drape tells a story. This portfolio is a collection of mine.
Dipal
Dipal's engagement was one of those rare, purely joyful experiences. When I arrived to style and drape her, she looked at me and simply said, "I trust you, do whatever you want." No previews, no second-guessing. Just complete, open trust. We had already gone through her jewelry options together and found pieces that felt like an extension of who she is, and when it came time to drape, I let her personality lead the way. Her final look was completely, authentically her.
I also had the pleasure of helping her mom pull together a look that complemented her daughter's beautifully, right down to the jewelry and hairstyle. The two of them together were a perfect picture. Now, with Dipal's wedding on the horizon and five events to plan for, we are deep in the process again. Outfits, fabrics, colors, accessories. She runs nearly every decision by me, and I love being that person for her. She has a wonderful sense of what she wants, and helping her bring it all together is a true pleasure.
