Nickita

Nickita came to me early in her planning process, which is one of the greatest gifts a client can give. That time allowed us to be precise, to try things, refine them, and arrive at each event with complete confidence in the outcome. She had a clear vision and trusted me to execute it faithfully, and we worked through every detail together until it was exactly right.

She also came with an idea I had never tried before: a specific saree draping style that she had envisioned but had never seen done. We worked it out together, and when it was finished, it was so clean and polished that guests thought the saree had been constructed that way. Her wedding day outfit presented its own challenge: the fabric was velvet, and pins simply would not hold through it. I hand-stitched her dupatta into place instead, and the result was flawless and lasting. I dressed Nickita and her mom across all of the events, and on the wedding day I also styled her bridesmaids and aunt, making sure every person in the party looked and felt their best.
