Sneha
Sneha is a bride I will carry with me for the rest of my career. When I visited her at home to go through all of her outfits, we spent the evening selecting which looks would be best for each event, working through jewelry options, and talking about hairstyles. She had multiple outfits to choose from and a warm, easygoing energy that made every decision feel light. She did not want anything overly complicated in terms of draping, so I styled each look to reflect exactly who she is: sweet, joyful, and effortlessly pretty. Her mom, who I also had the pleasure of draping, shares that same warmth completely. We have been close friends ever since.
The wedding morning had its own unexpected chapter. Sneha's mom called me in a panic: there were ten bridesmaids who needed to be draped in their sarees and no one to do it. I told her not to worry, called a friend to help, and we handled it. Crisis resolved. But the moment I will never forget came that evening. Sneha's reception was outdoors, and a storm that nobody had forecast rolled in. As guests arrived in the rain, Sneha stood at the window, took it all in, looked at her husband and at me, and said, "Let's go. If our guests can get a little wet, so can we." It was one of the most gracious, selfless things I have ever seen from a bride. She is the kind of person who makes this work feel like a calling.
