Shivani

Shivani was a dream to work with. Organized, clear-eyed, and deeply detail-oriented, she came to our meetings knowing what she wanted and open to the collaboration it would take to get there perfectly. We met several times to try different draping styles and refine the looks for each event, adjusting anything that was not quite right until it felt exactly as it should. She was wearing an ivory and gold bridal outfit, and from the moment I started working with it, I could not wait to see the full look come together. When it did, Shivani looked like she belonged on the cover of an Indian bridal magazine.

The evening of her reception brought a small but telling moment. When she put her dress on, we noticed it was too loose. Without missing a beat, I sewed her into it for a clean, fitted look that held beautifully all evening. That kind of last-minute problem-solving is part of what I do, and making sure she walked into that room feeling flawless was all that mattered. I also had the honor of styling her mom alongside her throughout the events, and dressing the two of them together was a genuine highlight.
